To be an open door for the development of the artistic language of contemporary dance, pushing creativity, critical thinking and contributing for the development of a cultured, open, independent and sustainable society.

Apprentice of Phoenix Dance Theatre, starred in a short dance film and was part of BBC3’s “Frankenstein Wedding LIVE”. Worked professionally with European Ballet, Race&Rhythm, Leaf Dance and Companhia de Dança do Norte, where she worked as choreographer’s assistant, rehearsal director and teacher. Worked in London with Abundance of the former Royal Ballet dancer Simon Rice, with whom she danced at Royal Opera House’s Linbury Theatre and Chisenhale Dance Space. Was part of the European tour of Vórtice Dance’s “Drácula”, Portugal.


In 2013 collaborates with Joana Peres and Allatantou Dance Company in the creation of “MIXturas”, an African and contemporary dance fusion, and joins Kale Companhia de Dança, Vila Nova de Gaia until July 2015.



Works as teacher and choreographer since 2013, teaching Ballet and contemporary dance: Conservatório de Música da Jobra, Academia de Dança de Matosinhos (also advanced dance coach), Dspace, Ginasiano Escola de Dança and Lab Arts. In 2016 joins Companhia Instável’s Curso de Formação Avançada em Interpretação e Criação Coreográfica (FAICC) and was invited to learn the piece of Tiago Rodrigues “Assim tipo…Dança contemporânea”, and join the company as a trainee for this creation.


In 2016 creates Companhia de Dança de Matosinhos with Diana Amaral.


As an anthropologist has worked in several museums and institutions, and was part of the Installation Committee of the Hat Industry Museum, being responsible for the educational service.


Studied Classical Ballet under ISTD method during 14 years in Pirmin Treku Ballet School, Porto. Studied dance with several teachers and choreographers including Cláudia Pereira, Lyndsey McConville, Fred Gehrig, Jasmine Wilson, Benvindo da Fonseca, Carole Moseley, Michael Dietz, Pedro Berdayes, Bruno Heynderickx,  Nicolas Cantillon, Linsey Hibbs, Sally O’Donnel. Did several dance workshops in American Tap Dance, Spanish Dance, Modern Jazz and Boogy-Jazz, Indian Dance, Folk, Portuguese, French, African and Galician Dances, among others.



In 2008, becomes the pedagogical and artistic Director of Academia de Dança de Matosinhos. Since then has been teaching, training, coaching and choreographing students for shows, competitions and auditions.


In 2016 creates Companhia de Dança de Matosinhos with Sara Silva.

Foundation Degree in Professional Dance and Performance Studies, Central School of Ballet, London, and Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary Dance, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds. Attended various dance courses in contemporary dance in the main dance centers: GDA, The Place, DanceWorks, Pineapple Studios, LABAN, Siobhan Davies Studios.
